In the heart of Colchagua Valley.
The property is located in the heart of Colchagua Valley, 6 kms. far from Santa Cruz city. Its been family owned since 1925. The property name is “Fundo La Pataguilla”, recognized as a very special area regarding weather and soil, resulting in unique growing conditions for red wine varieties.
Very extreme temperatures, with warm and shiny days, cool and foggy mornings, plus well balanced soils with domination of silt and clay result in intense and deep red colors, ripe and fruity aromas and powerful and heavy structure in our wines.
The Property.
La Pataguilla property has a total of 480 hectares, from which 60 are planted with vineyards. After a long process of selection and study, was decided to grow the most noble varieties for this terroir, such us powerfull and distinctive Carmenere, deep and dense Syrah, strong but gentle Cabernet Sauvignon and ripe and velvety Merlot.
